Konstantin Lapshin
Corporate and Employment Attorney
Konstantin Lapshin is a corporate and employment attorney at Primum Law Group, where his practice focuses on international and cross-border corporate and employment matters.
He assists various international firms in corporate law, labor law, and corporate and dispute resolution matters.
Prior to joining Primum Law Group, Konstantin worked as an attorney and senior attorney at the Employment & Compensation and Dispute Resolution Practices of Baker McKenzie and PwC Legal. Konstantin began his journey as the Head of the Employment Department of Alrud law firm, one of the major law firms in Russia. Konstantin has extensive experience providing legal advice to US companies and major European corporations in various employment, corporate, and litigation matters. Konstantin has been a recommended attorney at The Legal 500 Europe, Middle East, and Africa in Employment Practice Area in 2005 and 2006.
Representative Experience:
- Successfully represented Renault group in all legal matters related to the acquisition of Russian automobile plant Moscvich;

- Successfully represented a few of his clients in negotiation with major European banks of loan agreements prepared under LMA documentation;
- Performed labor audits and provided on-going advice on broad scope of employment issues for more than 20 multinational corporations;
- Structured HR operations during COVID-19 lockdown for a well-known European developer;
- Successfully supported a major European luxury and commercial vehicle automotive producer in the termination of its top manager by reason of gross misconduct;
- Successfully represented an American global apparel and footwear company in a complicated court dispute with its former employee related to salary and bonuses payments;
- Successfully supported a major Russian bank in the termination of its Legal Department Director by reason of gross misconduct;
- Protected his clients’ work for hire (software products) from employees’ unauthorized use;
- Prepared stock options and bonus payment plans for top managers of a major European bank related to the opening of Ukrainian branch of the bank;
- Defended a US national in administrative proceedings in Russia.
